My Time Sharing on Tha HawgLife Podcast

What a great opportunity on June 29th to be able to join Tha HawgLife Podcast! I loved my time there, and Rob, Willie-O, William, and Jarren were all wonderful. Big thank you to all four of the group that worked on the podcast and were so good to me! It was such a blessing to be able to share our story! I am also so thankful for the opportunity to share some of my heart about a few of things that I am continuing to learn about grief and pain. The girls were suffering from jetlag after arriving back from Asia and were not able to make it. However, they have both now watched the podcast and have given me their seal of approval. No one will probably ever understand how much their approval means to my heart. Whenever I share our story through writing or speaking then the girls and I have a deal. If there is ever anything that they do not want shared or if they want something said differently about them then they know that all they have to do is to say the word. After they watched it then they both told me that they would not change a thing and that they really liked it. What a blessing to my heart. I am so thankful that my girls want to be open with our story to try to help others who may be hurting or grieving. Kristi Kirk

Kristi grew up in North Dakota and attended the University of Minnesota at Moorhead where she completed her undergraduate studies in emotional and behavioral disorders. She moved to Arkansas where she later completed her masters in educational administration. Her heart and life have focused for many years on working with hurting kids that have been through much trauma and helping them to realize their potential and to overcome the difficulties that they were experiencing. She was married in 1993, and she and her husband had 3 children: PK who was born in 1995, Kylee was born in 1996, and MiKayla was born in 2000. After the deaths of her husband in 2011 and her son in 2013, her heart reaches out now to comfort those who are walking through the grieving process. She writes and speaks on how to deal with grief and pain whether it is your own or that of others, how to find hope, peace, and healing in the midst of trauma and tragedy, and tries to motivate others to live with no excuses and no regrets.
